Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. of hamburger
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 29 oz. cans of peeled whole tomatoes
  • 4 15 oz. cans of red/kidney/black beans
  • 1 cup of ketchup
  • 2 tsp. of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. of celery seed
  • 1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. of chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. of cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp. of Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat on medium high.
Add onion and bell pepper (chopped)
Cook still clear.
Add whole tomatoes with juice. Cook down and break up whole tomatoes (still medium high heat)
Add partially drained beans. Add spices including ketchup and worcestershire sauce.
Bring to boil. Cook 2 hours on low. Stir occasionally. Cover to simmer.
