Quick Crab Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of potato soup
  • 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 soup can milk
  • 1 soup can half-and-half
  • 1 # crab meat (I prefer using 2 # claw meat)
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Using a heavy saucepan, melt butter and saute onion until translucent. Add soups, milk, half and half. Add crab and bring just to a boil. Add sherry, salt and pepper.

Serve immediately or cool to room temp then freeze or refrigerate immediately.
