Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups potato flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 (3-pound) chicken, cut up

Step 1
Mix together the potato flakes, salt, paprika, pepper, garlic powder, and melted butter in a dish. In another dish whisk together the water and egg. Dip the chicken pieces first into the egg mixture, then into the potato flake mixture, covering well. Place on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle any leftover potato flakes onto the chicken pieces. Bake at 400F for 1 hour or until chicken is done.
