PEAS****Sugar Snap Pea Salad with Oriental Dressing

Ingredients

  • DRESSING:
  • 2 - 3 servings
  • 2 cups sugar snap peas
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes (easy)
  • 1/2 tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp. Kecap Manis
  • 1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 pinch of sugar or honey
  • Maldon salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp. white and black sesame seeds

Preparation

Step 1

* Pick through the sugar snap peas to remove any that aren't perfect. Remove and discard the stem end and the string from each pod. Rinse well and cut diagonally into 2 or 3 pieces each. Toss with the dressing ingredients and refrigerate until serving time. Just before serving, mix in sesame seeds.
