Cowboy Bacon Beans II

Ingredients
- 1 lb bacon, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 red peppers, chopped
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 4 cans pinto peans
- 1.5 cans water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 T mustard
- 1 T chili powder
- 2 t salt
- 2 t pepper
- 4 galic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup molasses
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Cook bacon in a pot until partially cooked, drain some of the fat.
Add red peppers and chopped white onion, cook 3-4 mins.
Add pinto beans and water.
Bring to a boil.
Add brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, chili powder, salt, minced garlic cloves, and molasses.
Simmer until thickened.
