Grilled Jumbo Shrimp
- 6 Tbls. soy sauce
- 3 Tbls. orange juice
- 3 Tbls. olive oil
- 1-1/2 tsp. sugar
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Dash crushed red pepper flakes
- Dash ground ginger
- 1 lb. raw jumbo shrimp, peeled & deveined
In a bowl, combine first 7 ingredients. (Optional: Cover & refrigerate 1/3 C. for basting.) Pour remaining marinade into a large resealable plastic bag. Add shrimp. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate at least one hour.
Drain and discard marinade from shrimp.
Coat grill basket with non-stick cooking spray. Add shrimp in single layer and grill over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side. **Can also be threaded onto skewers** Optional: Baste occasionally with reserved marinade.
