Ingredients

  • 1/4 c milled flax seed
  • 3/4 c whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 c flour
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c finely chopped apples
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c milk

Preparation

Step 1

Blend dry ingredients.

In a separate bowl mix egg, oil and milk.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Fold in apples.

Mixture will be thick.

Bake in greased muffin pan at 400 for 18-20 minutes.
