Veg Manchurain

Vegetable Manchurian are deep fried vegetable balls in a soya sauce
based gravy.

Ingredients
- 2 cups grated cabbage
- 2 cups grated carrots
- 2 chopped spring onion
- 2 chopped green chilies
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch of ajinomoto
- 2 tbsp oil
- Oil for deep frying
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix grated cabbage, carrots & squeeze water out from them.
2. Now in a bowl take squeezed cabbage, carrots, mix corn starch, add
chopped chilies & little salt to it.
3. Make small balls (like koftas) of mixture .
4. Heat oil in a kadhai (pan), deep fry balls till golden brown, drain &
keep aside.
5. Now in a separate pan heat 2 tbsp oil.
6. Sauté garlic, green chilies & spring onions.
7. Add water, salt, pepper powder, ajinomoto, sugar, soya sauce. Bring it
to a boil.
8. Mix 1 tbsp corn four with half of a cup of cold water & stir into it.
Gently add fried balls to gravy.
9. Cook veg manchurian for 3-4 mins & serve hot garnished with spring
onion.
