  • 1 stick (4 oz) Wegmans Unsalted Butter
  • 1 pkg (16 oz) Italian Classics Pumpkin Gnocchi (Dairy Dept)
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz) Wegmans Heavy Cream
  • 1 pkg (.25 oz) Food You Feel Good About Sage, thinly sliced
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • Italian Classics Grated Pecorino Romano Cheese (Cheese Shop)

Step 1

1.Start bringing gnocchi water to boil.

2.Make brown butter: Melt butter in small saucepan on MEDIUM. Heat 8-10 min, stirring constantly, until butter begins to turn light golden brown (be careful not to burn). Strain butter to remove dark solids; set aside.

3.Cook gnocchi per package directions, drain well.

4.Bring cream to simmer in medium skillet as gnocchi cooks. Stir in 1 /4 cup brown butter, cooked gnocchi, sage and black pepper. (Add pasta water to thin sauce if necessary.)

5.Transfer gnocchi to serving plates; sprinkle each serving with Pecorino cheese.
