French Onion Beef Au Jus

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 ' french bread brisket
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 2 T. oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 1/2 t. beau monde
- 1 (1/4 oz.) pkg. onion soup mix
- 4 cups water
- french rolls
- 2 Lg. sweet onion, sliced
- 1/4 c. butter

Preparation
Step 1
Place brisket in 3 1/2-4 qt. dutch oven. Combine soy sauce, oil, garlic, browning sauce, and beau monde in blender on medium until smooth. Add onion soup mix and water and blend until mixed. Pour over brisket, cover tightly, and cook in 350 degree oven until tender. Remove brisket and let stand 20 minutes before carving. Add 2 cups water to liquid and keep hot. Carve brisket along grain. Toss rolls with butter and garlic salt. Put meat on top with juice. Sprinkle with grated swiss cheese.
