Elegant Fudge Frosting

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 cups sugar
• 2 tbsp. instant coffee granules
• 1 tsp. vanila
• 5 oz. unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, instant coffee, and cream in small but deep, heavy pot.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and simmer for 6 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat.
Add chopped chocolate and stir to blend.
Stir in butter and vanilla.
Chill until mixture is thick and creamy.
