Creme Brûlée Brie

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz.) wheel of brie
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Bread of crackers, for serving

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°. Place brie in baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and switch oven to broil, if broiling.
Sprinkle top of brie with sugar and salt and return to oven to broil. (Alternatively, you can use a cooking torch to caramelize the sugar.) Broil until sugar has caramelized and is beginning to darken in spots. Remove from oven, let cool 10 minutes and serve.
