Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry - defrosted
- 2 pears - thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon finely minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon sugar

Step 1
Preheat over to 400 degrees. Place puff pastry on a clean lightly floured work surface. Cut a rectangle about 6" wind by 10" long. Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet. combine butter, brown sugar, ginger, vanilla and cinnamon and mix well. Brush top of pastry generously with mixture. leaving a 3/4" border, layer the pear slices on pastry, alternating directions to create a wave-like pattern. Brush the top of pears with remaining butter mixture and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 15-18 minutes or until pastry is brown. Let cool five minutes and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
