Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup flax seed, ground
  • 1/2 cup AP flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1-2 tsp salt
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1-2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1-2 cup raisins
  • 1 squished banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1-2 cup applesauce
  • 1-4 cup molasses
  • 1-4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk, or more if needed

Step 1

Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl. Mix the buttermilk, egg, sugars, applesauce and banana in another and then combine. Bake@ 350* for 16-18 minutes in muffin tins.
