Ingredients
- almonds 2 C
- flax 1/4C
- cashews 1C
- hamp seed 1/2 c
- chia seed 1/2 c
- grated peel of 2 lemons
- figs 1 1/4C
- honey 1/8 C
- coconut oil 1/8 C
- tahini 1/4C
- dried cherries unsweetened 1c
Preparation
Step 1
spray 9x13 glass dish
in food processor ( this won't work in a vitamix )
combine all nuts and seeds until a fine meal begins to adhere to the sides but do not over process or it will turn to nutbutter
add lemon peel & figs until the mix looks like a coarse meal
add the rest of the ingredients and process briefly until it forms a moist dough
press down into the pan - the mix should be very compact and solid
refrigerate 1 hour
cut into bars and wrap in plastic wrap
