Cream Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 4 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Add the boiling water to the shortening, bring to a boil and stir in the flour, thoroughly Remove from heat and let cool slightly, add the eggs, one at a time, beating in each one for some time before adding the next. Drop by 1/2 spoonful on a greased pan. about 2-inches apart Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
Stuff with egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, ham salad Use less mayonnaise so the puffs don't get soggy.
