Flank Steak - Hot and Spicy

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. sherry or chicken broth
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 1/2 tea. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 tea. paprika
  • 1 1/2 tea. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tea. worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 tea. seasoned salt
  • 3/4 tea. garlic powder
  • 3/4 tea. dried parsley flakes
  • 1 beef flank steam (1 1/2 lb)

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except steak. Pour 1/3 cup marinade into a large ziplock and add steak. Refrigerate for 1-3 hours. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade for basting.

Drain and discard marinade. Grill steak, uncovered, over medium for 6-8 minutes on each side or until reached desired doneness.
