Ingredients
- 1 pkg (32 oz) frozen southern style hash brown potatoes
- 1 lb block of velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 10 ¾ oz can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 2 cups (16 oz) sour cream
- ¾ cup butter, melted and divided
- 3 tablespoons chopped onion or onion flakes
- 2 cups cornflakes, slightly crushed
- Paprika
Preparation
Step 1
Spray a casserole pan with non stick spray. Pour in potatoes. Mix cheese, sour cream, soup, ½ cup butter and onion in microwave safe bowl and microwave until melted and able to be combined. Pour over potatoes and mix until combined. Put remaining butter in bowl with crushed corn flakes, and mix. Place cornflakes around the edges of the potato mixture in the pan. Sprinkle with parsley. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
