Reuben Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits, Pillsbury
  • 1/4 teaspoon carraway seeds
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Russian dressing
  • 8 ounces corn beef, shredded
  • 2 crisp rye crackers, crushed

Preparation

Step 1

Spread drained sauerkraut on bottom of 12x8 inch baking dish. Put sliced tomatoes on top, dot with butter and dressing. Cover with corn beef; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 425 degree for 15 minutes. Remove, separate each biscuit into 3 layers. Slightly overlap biscuits to form 3 rows. Sprinkle with crackers and seeds. Bake 425 degree till top is golden brown.
