Lemon Butter Shrimp Pasta

Heather put this together while searching several different recipes for a new take on shrimp and pasta.

  • 1

    lb cooked pasta (your choice)

  • sticks butter

  • 3

    cloves fresh minced garlic

  • Juice of 2 lemons

  • 1

    cup fresh parmesan cheese

  • 1

    lb steamed, shelled shrimp

  • cups white wine (not cooking wine)

  • ½ to ¾

    cup cream

  • Pepper to taste


In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add wine, garlic, lemon juice and pepper. Stir well, until sauce begins to bubble. Lower heat and add cream. Keep stirring until sauce is hot through. Add sauce mixture to hot pasta and add shrimp. Toss in parmesan cheese. Stir to combine thoroughly. Serve immediately.
