  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/4 cups skim milk
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 ounces red peppers diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 garlic clove - minced
  • 1 dash pepper



Step 1

Saute red peppers with garlic and set aside.
In a medium sized saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Stir in flour until smooth; gradually add the milk.
Bring to a boil; cook and stir for one minute or until thickened.
Add cheese, red peppers and garlic, salt, garlic, and pepper; cook and stir until cheese is melted.
