Ingredients

  • 4 each Chicken Breasts -- boneless
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 3/4 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Oil for Frying
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cut chicken into 1/2 x 2-inch strips. Blend honey and dijon mustard in small bowl for sauce; set aside.

2. Mix flour, salt and pepper in shallow bowl or pie plate. Dip chicken in milk and roll in flour mixture to coat. Place chicken on waxed paper.

3. Pour 1/4 inch of oil into large heavy skillet. Heat over medium-high heat to 350℉ Divide chicken into batches and place chicken in an even layer in hot oil. Fry about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve with sauce.

4. 1/4 t Cayenne pepper can be added to flour to liven up chicken.
