Brown Sugar Drop Cookies

This recipe makes quite a bit. The cookies are soft and chewy.

Ingredients

• Cookies:
• 1 1/2 cup of brown sugar
• 1/2 cup of soft butter
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 tsp. of vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups of flour
• 1 tsp. of soda
• 1/2 tsp. of salt
• 1/2 tsp. of baking powder
• 1 cup of sour cream
• 2/3 cup of chopped nuts
• Frosting:
• 3/4 cup of butter
• 3 cups of powdered sugar
• 2 tsp. of vanilla
• 4 or 5 Tbs. of hot water

Preparation

Step 1

Cookies:
Mix sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to mixture with sour cream. Add nuts. Chill dough.
Drop by teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Frost and top with walnut or pecan halves.

Frosting:
Melt butter to golden...
