Ingredients

  • 1 cup Parkay (tub-style), softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-12 oz. pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a jelly-roll pan lightly. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, light brown sugar, and vanilla together until light and fluffy. Do this with a hand mixer if available. Add eggs to this mixture and beat well.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the first mixture, mixing well with the hand mixer. Stir in chocolate chips with a spoon or other utensil. Spread mixture evenly on the greased cookie sheet and bake for ~20 min or until golden brown. Cool completely and cut into bars.
