Pecan Pie Square

Ingredients

• Topping:
• 1 1/3 cup powdered sugar
• 4 cups flour
• 4 sticks butter, softened
• 1 1/3 cup melted butter
• 1 cup honey
• 6 TBSP heavy whipping cream
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 14 oz pecans chipped (3 1/2 cups)

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour & sugar together. Cut in butter until fine crumbs form. Pat into 2 greased 9 x 13 pans. Bake at 350 for 18 to 20 minutes.

Mix melted butter, honey, cream and brown sugar. Stir in pecans. Sopread over crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350 until edges are bubbly. Cool begfore cutting. Freezes well.
