Ingredients
- 3 .\/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
in a saucepan combine the sugar and flour. add the hot water cook over high heat until the mixture begins to thicken . Turn the heat off and stir for 5 minutes. Add the butter and vanilla.
Pour over the gingerbread while the sauce or ice cream or whatever you would like.
