Ingredients

  • 3 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Filling
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash salt
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecan

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup butter, flour and salt; blend well. Refrigerate 3-4 hour

2. divide int 24 balls. Press into bottom and up sides of mini muffin tins

3. Filling: Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Fill pastry lined muffin tins; sprinkle with more nuts on top if you want

4. Bake in 325 degree oven for 25 min or until crust is golden

5. remove from oven and run sharp knife around edge to loosen filling stuck to tins. Remove when cool
