Ingredients
- • Olive oil
- • 1 big Spanish onion peeled and minced
- • 16 oz of Italian sausages crushed
- • 1 1/2 cup of chicken bouillon
- • 1 lb of penne
- • 4 cup of baby spinach
- • Salt and pepper
- • 4 tablespoons or more of grated parmesan cheese (or pecorino)
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a casserole, warm up the olive oil and add the onions and cook slightly stirring. 2. Add the sausage and cook thoroughly. 3. Add the bouillon and reduce for a few minutes. 4. Cook the penne accordingly. 5. Drain the pasta and add to the sauce with the spinach. 6. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. 7. Warm up by adding the bouillon. 8. Add cheese stirring well. Note : If we use regular spinach, warm them up by draining the pasta over them.We could use rapini to replace spinach or blanched broccoli.
