Ingredients
- Dough for White or Dark:
- 10 egg yolks
- 10 tbsp. sugar
- 10 tbsp. oil
- 1 pkg. vanilla
- 1 lemon zest
- flour as needed (approx 3+ cups)
- White Filling:
- 10 egg whites, beaten stiff with a little salt (or crème of tartar)
- Add:
- 400 gr. Sugar
- 500 gr. Almonds, blanched, skin removed, ground
- 1 pkg. vanilla
- 1 lemon zest
- Chocolate Filling:
- 10 egg whites, beaten stiff with a little salt (or crème of tartar)
- Add:
- 300 gr. Almonds, toasted, ground
- 300 gr. Sugar
- 200 gr. Chocolate (chopped fine w/knife)
- Cinnamon (to taste, I use 1 tbsp)
- 1 pkg. vanilla (I use 2 tsp pure vanilla extract)
Preparation
Step 1
Dough: Mix first 5 ingredients together. Add flour. Roll into 1" ball, press into tin tarts. Add Filling and bake at 325 for 22-24 min. Keep an eye on them.
