Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients

  • Place in top of double boiler:
  • 3 unbeaten egg whites
  • 1 T corn starch
  • 1 c wh. sugar
  • Stir thoroughly and then place over boiling water, Beat with egg beater till it stands in peaks. Remove from heat.
  • Add:
  • 1 c coconut
  • 1 t Vanilla
  • Mix well.

Preparation

Step 1

Drop by small teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 350 - 375 until delicate brown.
Cool on pan.
