Tropical Banana Bread

Ingredients

• 1/2 c Crisco
• 1 c sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2-3 mashed bananas
• 1/2 c sour cream
• 2 c flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 c chopped nuts (optional

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 F
Grease and flour a 2 L(9" x 5") loaf pan
Cream Crisco and sugar
Add eggs,bananas and sour cream,beating until smooth
In a separate bowl,combine flour,baking soda and salt
Add to creamed mixture
Mix until blended
Stir in nuts,if desired
Spread in pan
Bake for 55-60 min or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
Cool in pan for 10 min and remove
Cool on rack
Makes loaf
Freezes well
