Pickleback

The pickleback is a rather unusual whiskey cocktail that packs a big wallop of umamai.

Ingredients

• 2 fl oz Jameson Whiskey
• 2 fl oz Spicy Dill Pickle Brine
• Pickles and sprigs of fresh dill, as garnish (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Pour the whiskey and brine into separate “double” shot glasses (about 3 fl oz each). Garnish as you like. I suggest you go overboard.
