Ingredients
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 Tbsp. rum or rum extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup milk
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour loaf pan 9x5x3.
Beat sugar, butter, rum, vanilla and egg yolks in lg bowl with mixer. Beat in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Mix throughly and pour into pan
Bake 50-60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. This is also good cut into cubes and used with a chocolate fondue.
