Ingredients

• 2 cups table salt
• 2/3 cup water
• 1 cup cornstarch
• 2/3 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix salt and 2/3 cup water in a saucepan, stirring until mixture is well heated, 3 or 4 minutes. Remove from heat and add cornstarch which has been mixed with 2/3 cup water. Stir quickly. If it does not thicken, return to low heat and stir until thich. It is hard to stir but undercooking leaves it sticky. It shoul for a soft, pliable mass. It can be kept in a jar or plastic and does not need refrigertion.
