Spinach Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 –10 oz pkg frozen spinach, thawed and excess liquid squeezed out
  • 2- 8 oz cream cheese (spreadable, light works)
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 loaf of French bread or round loaf of bread for the bowl
  • Plus one baguette or another French bread for dipping

Preparation

Step 1

Cut top off loaf of bread. Scoop out bread leaving a ½” edge for the “bowl”. Bake “bowl” and lid @ 250oF for 10-15 minutes. Place all ingredients except spinach in a medium bowl and combine well. Then add spinach and stir gently. Add mixture to the bread “bowl”. Wrap in foil and bake a 250oF for 2 hours.
