Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 large bananas, mashed



Step 1

Preheat oven to 325

Spray pans.

In a medium bowl stir flour, baking soda and salt, set aside.

In a large mixer bowl at medium speed, beat sugar, oil and eggs until blended.
Add bananas and beat until well blended.

At low speed beat in flour mixture just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour in loaf pans.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.

Wrap in plastic then foil. Store overnight before serving.

Slice with a sharp knife.
