Pastry Cream 2

Ingredients

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

combine egg yolks with sugar until pale yellow.

add cornstarch to 1/2 cup milk until disolved, add to yolk/sugar mixture.

add the rest of the milk and combine.

Heat over double boiler with simmering water until thick.
