Line 12” Dutch oven with foil and pre-heat. Pour prepared batter into preheated oven. In a separate bowl, prepare “Mud” ingredients and pour over cake batter. Cover oven with 8 to 10 briquettes on the top and 8 briquettes on the bottom and bake for about 40 minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Replace lid and allow chocolate chips to melt. Serve with Cool Whip. Can be doubled in the 12” Dutch oven to make a thicker dessert.
