Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp instant minced onions
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp leaf oregano
  • 1 (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozarella
  • 1 can (6 oz) sliced mushrooms

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl, combine beef, crumbs, egg, onion, salt & oregano. Stir in 3/4 cup tomator sauce, set aside. Cut 2 pieces waxed paper 15 inches long. Place meat mixture in center of oneone piece- cover w/ 2nd. Wiht a rolling pin, press meat into a 13 x 9 rectanlge. Remove top sheet sprinkle w/ cheese & mushrooms. Top w/ remaining sauce. Roll up meat, jelly roll style. Place meat w/ seam side. Bake 375 for 30 minutes. Drain fat. Return to oven for 30 minutes.
