Custardy French Toast

Ingredients

  • 4 slices White bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 2 T. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange bread in 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Beat eggs, milk, sugar, and salt until fluffy. Pour over bread; turn each slice to coat well. Cover; refrigerate over night. Heat butter in skillet. Carefully transfer each slice to skillet. Cook over medium heat for 4 min. on each side.
