Ingredients

  • Twice baked:
  • 6 large baking potatoes
  • Butter
  • Cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese (I used Campbells Cream of potato soup)
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 2 c. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 pint Sour Cream
  • 1 c Milk
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • Garnish: bacon, chives

Preparation

Step 1

Wrap each potato in foil. Place potatoes ina 6 qt. slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until tender. Serve with toppings or twice bake them.

To twice bake them, preheat oven to 350. Peel and mash potatoes in a large bowl. Add the butter and cream cheese or soup. Mix. Then add the sour cream, milk and 1c. of the cheese and mix well. Add garlic and salt. Mix well.

Spray 13x9 baking dish. Place potato mixture in dish and bake for 30-35 min. Take the remaining 1c. cheese and sprinkle on top. Bake an additional 5 min. Garnish
