Ingredients
- 3 cups broth ( chicken or vegetable)
- 3/4 cup lentils
- 1/2 cup brown rice
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- o 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder ( I use more)

• Prep Time: 10 mins
• Total Time: 1 hrs 40 mins
• Servings: 6-8
1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
2. Mix all ingredients in a baking dish (I use an 11 x 7. Note: size of pan affects cooking time).
3. Cover with foil and bake for 70-90 minutes until water is absorbed.
The recipe is vegan so I would treat it as a protein and a carb if it is the main course. If you want to use it as a side I’d add another protein but not another carb.
