Ingredients
- 2 cups King Arthur flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 package (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended and fluffy. bStir in flour mixture, chocolate and nuts until well mixed. Shape dough in 2-inch balls and place 3 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for20 to 23 minutes or until golden and the edges are lightly browned. Remove cookie sheet from oven and let cool on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes before removing cookies.
