Ingredients
- 1 16 oz pkg frozen pearl onions
- 4.5 teaspoons butter
- 4.5 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup milk
- paprika
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook onions according to package directions
2. In a small sauce pan, melt butter, stir in flour, salt, nutmeg, garlic powder and pepper until smooth
3. Gradually stir in the milk and bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
4. Drain onions and stir in cream sauce
5. Sprinkle with paprika
