Pancakes (Large Quantity)

  • 6 cups flour (reduce if using buckwheat or Red Rover)
  • 8 Tbsp sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 cups milk
  • 12 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp melted shortening

Preparation

Step 1

Measure flour. Add baking powder, sugar, and salt. Beat eggs until light. Add milk and melted shortening. Add to dry ingredients. Heat griddle, grease lightly. Cook until tops are full of bubbles. Turn, finish cooking. Variations: Red River cereal, blueberries, buckwheat.
