Ingredients
- 1 1/2 quarts chicken broth/stock
- #1
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 lg. minced onion
- 3 diced celery stalks
- #2
- Fresh Parsley
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tbsp. tomato paste
- or
- 1 cup stewed tomatoes
- 1/4 small cabbage, chopped
- #3
- 2 diced carrots
- 2 diced potatoes
- 2 diced zucchini
- #4
- 1 16 oz. can Red Kidney beans
- 8 oz. frozen peas
- Ham
- Romano cheese
- 1 cup elbow macaroni

Preparation
Step 1
Saute #1 in soup pan, add broth. Boil 10 min., add #3. Boil 5 min. Add #2. Partially cook (about 5 min.) macaroni and add to soup. Add #4. Simmer until hot.
