Ingredients
- 1 broccoli trimmed into flowerets
- 2/3 cup of minced scallion
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 tablespoon of basic
- ½ cup parmesan
- ½ cup gorgonzola
- pinch of cayenne, salt, pepper
- chopped walnuts
- 1 pound linguine
Preparation
Step 1
1. rim broccoli and cut stems in julienne. Cook in salted water 4 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water. 2. Melt butter and cook scallions. Add cream, basil and garlic. Simmer stirring for a few minutes. 3. Add Parmesan and crumbled gorgonzola and stir until well combined 4. Stir in broccoli and spices and heat through. 5. Serve over linguine and sprinkle with finely chopped walnuts.
