Ingredients

  • Cheesecake - Buy one if you are in a hurry, or make one from the Cheesecake recipe
  • Ice Cream scoop
  • Chocolate or candy melts
  • Sprinkles
  • Lollipop Sticks
  • Wax paper
  • Dark Chocolate, chopped
  • Graham cracker crumbs, or chocolate cracker crumbs
  • Dipping bowl
  • Styrofoam block

Preparation

Step 1

Using desired size ice cream scoop, scoop as many balls as you want or can get out of your cheesecake.

Pop them out of scoop and roll into a circle. Drop them in graham cracker crumbs and roll them around until they are your desired shape. Place them on a cookie sheet and put them into the freezer for about 30 minutes.

Using a bowl that is deep enough to submerge the cheesecake ball, heat the candy melts in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between.

Have all of your supplies ready and nearby.

Dip one end of the stick into your melted candy and stick it in the ball, about half way in. Using the stick, dunk the cheesecake ball into the candy melt and sprinkle decorations on to decorate. Place stick into a styrofoam block until completely dry. Store them in the refrigerator.

A few tips:
If your chocolate or candy coating become too thick, add a little melted shortening to thin it.

Be sure to add the sprinkles/decorations before it sets up or they won't stick

It can be a messy job, but someone has to do it!
