Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups romaine or spinach leaves, torn
  • several thin slices red onion
  • 1/2 cup mandarin oranges, drained (no sugar added)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut
  • 2 tablespoons low calorie poppyseed dressing
  • Dressing (makes 2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup reduced calorie spicy-sweet French dressing (16 calories per tablespoon)
  • 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons yellow prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoons onion powder
  • 8 packages Equal
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 2 tablespoons water

Step 1

Mix dressing ingredients well. Refrigerate overnight before using.

Assemble salad and pour poppy dressing over. Toss to coat.
