Ingredients

  • cups romaine or spinach leaves, torn

  • several thin slices red onion

  • ½

    cup mandarin oranges, drained (no sugar added)

    tablespoons low calorie poppyseed dressing

  • Dressing (makes 2 cups)

  • ½

    cup reduced calorie spicy-sweet French dressing (16 calories per tablespoon)

    8-ounce can tomato sauce

  • 3

    tablespoons cider vinegar

    tablespoons yellow prepared mustard

  • 1

    tablespoons onion powder

Directions

Mix dressing ingredients well. Refrigerate overnight before using. Assemble salad and pour poppy dressing over. Toss to coat. 4 veg, 1 fruit, 28 calories
